Current Updates

UPS Weather Delays Affecting KY and Nationwide
Winter Storm Bellamy is currently impacting UPS operations across the United States. Because UPS’s main air hub is in Louisville, KY, these conditions may slow down processing and movement through the network. 

Since our KY warehouse is in the same region, handoffs to UPS may take a little longer until conditions improve. Even if the weather in your area is clear, delays can occur upstream within UPS’s system.

We’re keeping a close eye on both warehouse operations and carrier updates. If anything changes that could impact your order, we’ll continue updating this page to keep everything as clear and up-to-date as possible.


Warehouse Operations

  • Weekend Closures
    Most of our warehouses take a little weekend break, so orders placed during that time start processing on Monday. Our KY warehouse, though, works a half-day schedule on both Saturdays and Sundays, and our WA warehouse runs a half-day on Sundays. This helps a few orders hop into processing a bit earlier and keeps things moving along smoothly.

  • Flexible Fulfillment
    Your order may be split and shipped from a different warehouse depending on stock availability. This helps minimize delays and get your pet supplies to you faster.

Carrier Updates

UPS 

United States Services Impacted by Winter Storm Bellamy

UPS services across the United States have been impacted by Winter Storm Bellamy. While UPS facilities are providing pickup and delivery services as conditions permit, some delays are possible.

Additional disruptions in our air network are expected due to severe winter conditions affecting our Louisville, KY Worldport operations, UPS’s main air hub in the United States. Although your location may not be impacted by adverse weather, the movement of packages in the network may be delayed by conditions in other areas.

We will work to ensure the safety of our employees while minimizing the effects on service. Contingency plans are in place to help ensure that shipments arrive at their final destinations as quickly as possible.

FedEx

FedEx has activated contingency plans to mitigate impacts from weather disruptions at the Memphis and Indianapolis hubs last night. Potential delays are possible for package deliveries with a commitment of Tuesday, December 2, 2025. FedEx is committed to providing the best service possible.

There may be different levels of impact depending on selected services, city, state, and ZIP Code. 

Please note that shipments delayed due to weather events are not eligible for a refund or credit under the Money-Back Guarantee policy, per the FedEx Service Guide.
