Warehouse Operations

  • Weekend Closures
    Most of our warehouses take a little weekend break, so orders placed during that time start processing on Monday. Our KY warehouse, though, works a half-day schedule on both Saturdays and Sundays, and our WA warehouse runs a half-day on Sundays. This helps a few orders hop into processing a bit earlier and keeps things moving along smoothly.

  • Flexible Fulfillment
    Your order may be split and shipped from a different warehouse depending on stock availability. This helps minimize delays and get your pet supplies to you faster.

Severe weather, natural disasters, and other conditions beyond our control can occasionally delay or disrupt our UPS services. .

USPS Delays in Louisville - Current Situation

USPS is reporting processing delays at the Louisville Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) due to supporting Evansville's facility during equipment upgrades, with normal operations expected by Sept. 20, 2026 Yahoo+1

Reason for the delays

According to a Sept. 14, 2026 USPS notice, Louisville's P&DC (1400 block of Gardiner Lane) is

currently assisting the Evansville, Indiana facility, which is undergoing equipment upgrades Yahoo +1

This added workload is causing processing delays for mail and packages handled at the Louisville site.

Expected resolution

USPS officials state that the Louisville facility is expected to return to normal operations by Sunday,
