At Small Pet Select, we're dedicated to providing efficient service to our customers. Here's what you need to know:


In the United States, we operate from three strategic locations – Arizona, Kentucky, and Washington State – ensuring speedy delivery of fresh products.

Order Processing Time: 

Our goal is to process and ship most orders on the same business day if received before 4 pm local warehouse time:

Eastern Time (KY Warehouse)

Pacific Time (WA Warehouse)

Arizona Time (AZ Warehouse). 

**Orders received after these times will likely be shipped the following business day.

Delivery Estimate: 

While most orders arrive within an average of 1.7 business days, please keep in mind that factors like weather, holidays, COVID-related staffing shortages, and high weekend sales can influence delivery times.

Shipping Carriers:

The delivery carrier method is determined by your order's total weight. 

We use UPS, UPS Sure Post, and USPS for different weight ranges.

  • Orders 13 oz. or less: USPS First Class Mail
  • Orders 14 oz. to 2 lbs.: Typically USPS
  • Orders 2 to 4 lbs.: UPS Sure Post (delivered by UPS to your local post office the your local postal carrier will deliver to your mailbox; adding an extra day or more to the estimated delivery time.
  • Orders 5 lbs. or more: UPS Ground (fastest option with an average delivery time of 1.7 business days)

Service Area Availability: 

Our shipping services cover the continental USA and require a physical street address. 

PO Box address:

We don't deliver to PO Box addresses. Only physical street addresses are accepted.

Free Shipping:

Enjoy free shipping for orders totaling $49 or more (after discounts and before taxes). 

For orders under $49, there's a flat rate of $4.99 - not free but close to it.

Warehouse Variation:

Occasionally, part of your order may be shipped from another warehouse based on inventory availability.

USPS Notice:

Since 10/1/2021, USPS has new service standards for First Class Mail, potentially impacting transit times. Delivery times are not guaranteed.

Address Accuracy:

We kindly request customers to verify and ensure the accuracy of their shipping address before confirming the order. Unfortunately, we can't take responsibility for undelivered packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
